"Bike To the Market Day" This Sunday

The Needham Farmers Market will host a "Bike to Market Day" this Sunday, August 5th.

The first 25 people to arrive at the market by bicycle will receive a $2 coupon to use at the Needham Farmers Market on Sunday.

This coupon will be offered to the first 25 people who bicycle to the Market, and only one coupon per family. Wouldn't it be a great thing to have 25 people show up at the market by bicycle!

To collect your coupon, go to the market manager’s tent.

While at the tent, also stop by and visit the Bay Colony Rail Trail table, where you can learn about the recreational path planned on the 2-mile unused rail corridor starting at Needham Junction (near Roche Brothers), through the Needham Town Forest, past Red Wing Bay, to the Charles River Peninsula at the Dover line and the Charles River. The vision for the entire path continues another 5 miles through Dover and into Medfield.

The Needham Farmers Market is a great way to shop locally—meet the growers, support your local businesses and catch up with neighbors and friends.

Also on Sunday, Aug. 5, there will be a local artisan, Sheryl Scipione, and music by Euphonium Trio.

The market is open from 1:00 pm to 5 p.m, and is located on the front lawn of First Parish in Needham (23 Dedham Ave). There is plenty of free, on-street parking available.
